Our topic for our zoom meeting on Aug 28th at 3:00 P.M. will be “Strategic moves to protect financial assets during the pandemic”. Our speakers will be Laura Patton, Attorney at Law from Orinda, Fred Steingraf, Financial Advisor from Lafayette, and Jody Irons, Executive Director of Diablo Valley Foundation for the Aging. Please note that August 28th is a Friday not Tuesday.

Fred Steingraf earned his BA from UC Davis and his MBA from St Mary’s College. He is an Edward Jones Financial Advisor with clients all over the United States.

Jody Irons has been wooking for not-for profits for over 30 years. Prior to joining DVFA, she worked with organizations such as the Epilepsy Foundations of Northern California, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, MDA, March of Dimes, United cerebral Palsy, YWCA, and Friday Night Live. She has over 13 years experience leading non-profit organizations as Executive Director.

Laura Patton  graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tulane University. She received her JD law degree at Hastings College of law in San Francisco. She has practiced law in Contra Costa County since 1993 and is an active member in the local Estate Planning Council.
